The popular game mode Halo Slayer is finally scheduled for mid-December

Brian Jarrard, 343 Community Director, notes that the anticipated the update will give Infinite halo Additional multiplayer options for gamers, including Party, Free-for-All, SWAT, and Slayer game modes. The update will also remove some of the game’s less popular mode specific challenges and replace them with new ones that align with upcoming playlists and features.

John Junyszek, Senior Community Manager, formerly indicated that Slayer wouldn’t arrive until next year, which made the news from Jarrard a pleasant surprise. The dev team’s shift in focus was largely based on feedback from the Halo community, loudly voicing Slayer as a highly desired addition to the game’s multiplayer selection. The update will provide a basic gameplay for Slayer, with subsequent variations planned for future releases.

Veterans of the series should be no strangers to the upcoming game modes. In Fiesta, players appear with random primary and secondary weapons ranging from basic gear to powerful weapons. The Free for All matches pit all players against each other, only you against the world. SWAT provides tactically minded players with small teams focused on tactical shooting. Slayer is arguably the oldest and most popular of the game’s multiplayer modes. It is a team deathmatch that allows various squad sizes, custom charges, use of ordinances, etc.
